Needless to say, I FREAKED out.
The store is right down the road from me too, and it's actually pretty awesome. He sells all sorts of stuff, NES games, SNES, N64, Sega Genesis, Sega Dreamcast, Sega CD, tons of different Gameboy games, along with all the new releases. It's a freaking gold mine. I never need to go to Gamestop again.
He even has Kirby Superstar. I'm just going to save up a bunch of money and go down there and buy tons of stuff.
But back to the Wii. Me and my brother set it up. The controller is great, it's smaller than it might seem, but it feels like it belongs in your hands. The motion sensing is pretty much flawless, you just have to make sure the sensor bar can detect it.
I made a Mii of me, it's hilarious. In Wii Sports, you choose a Mii that you've made to play as, and for each different sport he gets different clothes. For boxing, he gets shorts, for baseball, he gets these funny striped pants.
Twilight Princess is looking to be like an amazing game. The controls are nice and smooth, and it's just really, really nice to look at.
Something I really, really had a problem with though, is setting up the internet. We tried and tried to get it to connect, but we couldn't do it, and eventually, we did connect it, but when we tried to use the internet again, it didn't work!
We did get a chance to check out the Wii Store before it stopped working, though. They have Super Mario 64 and Sonic the Hedgehog for download, among other things.
But yeah, the Wii is awesome beyond comprehension. Well, not really, but you really need to play it before you can say you love it.
But I'm in school, and I have a paper to write, so I am going to go.
Later,
-Sol
